I see more online paper champions than Brazilian jiujitsu paper champions. Too much credit is given to anabolic steroids, especially by those who have never taken them. They just know someone who uses them and base their opinions off of that, more or less. Do anabolic steroids work? Well of course they work, no doubt but if PED's are solely responsible for making champions and many think it is guaranteed to make you a champ, then everyone would doing it. Athletes of varying sports have used anabolics steroids and have been beaten by others not using them. Too many factors besides drugs are involved in the making of a future champion. Nutrition ,genetics, recovery factor, proper training, etc. PED's again, do help but does not make a champion. Too many variables, to only give drugs credit.

They don't test for Roids in BJJ competition and there is no reason to believe this dude along with many top BJJ competitors are not all juiced up. Dave Camarillo was right when he said, "As far as i am concerned, there has never been any legitimate BJJ competition held up to this point". He was referring to the fact that there isn't a state athletic commission that overseas BJJ competitions and administers drug tests. So, all these so called BJJ "World" champions are simply paper champions.
